As Chair of the Parent's Association I would like to welcome
everyone to a new school year at Congregation Beth Ahm. I am looking forward to
working with everyone this year.Parents
always play a key role in their children's education.The Parent's Association has a lot of special
events planned for our children this year.In order for these events to be successful we need your help.
Throughout the year there will be sign up sheets to
volunteer to help set up and/or break down for an event as well as to
participate in the event.The more
participation we have in these special events the better they will be for our
children and our families.
I will be posting a sign up sheet for snack set up on the
bulletin board.Please sign up to set up
snacks for our children.The food will
be provided for you.We only ask that
you set up the table for the children with juice, snacks, napkins and
plates.We would then need you to arrive
about 5 minutes early to clean up.This
would mean putting away all left over snacks, cups and plates.By volunteering your time we are allowing our
children to enjoy a break from their studies.
We will be having Parent Association meetings throughout the
school year to plan for up coming events and to talk about the school year as
it progresses.Our first Meeting will be
on September 13, 2009 at 9:45 am.This first
meeting is a mandatory meeting.All
future meetings will be listed on the school calendar. All meetings will start
at 9:45 am and will usually last about 15 30 minutes (depending on up coming
events). All meetings will be held at
CBA. I look forward to working with you.
